A Few Updates

The demo has begun at the pool area. I’m pretty sure the work can be heard in Canada. When it opens again in mid-Oct. 18, you will see new decking, new drains, and new ADA chairs. We appreciate your patience. As a reminder, Trails End residents can use the pool at Leisure World.

We are making progress around the park, as noted in the pictures below. Looking forward to the start of a great season here at Trails End. Hoping for better news for our northern border friends next month. Fingers crossed.

Water Shutoff

As a heads up, in about an hour (around 12:30 p.m.), we’ll have to shutoff the water parkwide for an emergency repair. The repair should not take more than 30 mins to an hour at max (by 2:30 p.m.). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your patience.

New Hires, Pool Shutdown

We are shutting the pool down for an extended period as we make some major, well needed repairs. Some of the differences you will be able to tell will be new decking and new gutters. The pool will be unavailable starting Monday, September 20 until October 18. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Please join us in welcoming our new hires:

Maintenance – Praxedis (primarily speaks Spanish)

Activity Director – Hilda

Each comes to a new environment with a lot of applicable experience. We are excited to have a great staff in place.

Gate Code

The new contractor gate code will be “#1778” This will begin Tuesday, September 7 at 8 a.m. As a reminder, this code will change monthly on the first Tuesday of each month, or as needed. Please use this for any contractors/vendors that come to the property. All vendors/contractors should still sign-in at the main office.

Shuffleboard Court Update

We are still working on the court area, however, after Friday we will not be back in the area until at least Wednesday morning. Feel free to use the courts Saturday through Tuesday.

As a reminder, brush pickup is Tuesday. We will also send a message with the new contractor gate code Tuesday.

Please do not use the spa. There is sand in it and repairs are needed. Sounds like it will happen after Labor Day, but if it can happen sooner we will. The pool is operating as normal and is good to use.

As a reminder, the Luau is Monday evening. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend. “Before the reward, there must be labor. You plant before you harvest. You sow in tears before you reap joy.” — Ralph Ransom
