Main Entrance Work

We will be working on our main entrance signs starting tomorrow. We are installing a new large Encore-Trails End sign. This will replace the signage that is on each side of the main entrance road. This project will not be completed until next week, but you will see changes starting tomorrow. Please use caution as you are driving through.

As a reminder, our Town Hall will be in the Main Hall at 9 a.m. tomorrow.

Also, the main entrance gate will be closed this evening and the keypad will be working as normal. No code changes or updates.

Trails End Town Hall

We will host a Town Hall Meeting with Weslaco Police Department Thursday, August 12 at 9 a.m. in the Main Hall. This is in response to the alleged thefts that have taken place on the property. We want to provide residents an opportunity to gather helpful information from law enforcement. Come with any questions you may have with this, as well.

See you this Thursday.

Important Updates

We continue to receive reports of sheds being left open, with signs pointing to theft attempts. It sounds like a majority of items missing are lawn care equipment. It also seems like the sheds are being targeted in the evening time and at night. Please keep an eye out. As a community, we want to help ensure our residents and their belongings are safe and secured. Please make sure your sheds are secured as tight as possible. Our office have been receiving notices days later. In ALL cases of alleged theft, contact the police and file a report. Let our office know as soon as possible. We were able to help one resident recover their missing item when we were notified quickly. Local authorities were able to respond and are willing to help when they are made aware. We strongly recommend residents do not attempt to make contact with any suspected persons. Please call 911.

Too often, we are receiving reports days after the fact. In order to best help residents and our community, please let us know of observations and descriptions as soon as possible. “If you see something, say something.”

We appreciate everyone’s help with lawn maintenance. We continue to monitor on a weekly basis. We are noticing an increase to unit and water line damage due to high grass and contractors not knowing where to use caution while cutting. Damages and repairs will be the responsibility of the resident. Please ensure there is a regular schedule with your lawn care service provider.

New Gate Code, Meeting Follow-Up

We just want to send a message for all residents who missed the Manager’s Report at today’s meeting.

Gate Code: The new contractor gate code will be “#4000” This will begin Tuesday, August 3 at 8 a.m. As a reminder, this code will change monthly on the first Tuesday of each month, or as needed. Please use this for any contractors/vendors that come to the property. All vendors/contractors should still sign-in at the main office.

Palm Trees: Palm tree trimming will take place in September. Date TBD.

Walgreens On-Site Clinic: Walgreens will come to Trails End to distribute vaccinations to residents. We are planning some time the week of Aug. 16-20. Vaccines offered will be for COVID-19, flu, pneumonia, whooping cough, and hepatitis A/B. We have the form you can fill out in the office. These should not be returned to the office, as they need to go directly to the Walgreens administration the day of. This will help expedite the process for you. I will send a message once the date is confirmed. This is for TE residents only.

Brush pickup will be tomorrow (Tuesday).

Theft: If your lot has been affected by theft, we ask that you do two things; report it to the authorities and get a case number, and alert the Main Office. This will help us track activity on the property and work towards a solution for the property with corporate and local law enforcement.

The wood shop roof will be repaired soon.

If you see anything suspicious on the property, please get a description and report it to the Main Office. We do not encourage residents to encounter visitors/guests that you do not know. All visitors should be directed by the residents to sign-in at the Main Office. This will help with alerts we receive.

We are planning a “Welcome Back Dinner” for ALL Trails End residents scheduled for January. Additional information will be available at a later date.

As a heads up, the ice machine has been removed from the property. We are still pending the new Coke Machine delivery, and a technology upgrade to the laundry room washers and dryers.

Good Misc. Info

Thank you to everyone for your understanding and patience with the gate. It seems like no matter how many blog messages we send out, there will still be a good number of residents that miss the messages by not connecting with the blog site. I know this is new territory for the property, but it really is the best way we can get the word out to everyone. If you know someone that is not signed up, please encourage them to use their email so they will not be left out.

The storage site fee is another opportunity to get communication out to residents. August 1 is the date we start charging the fee for storage lot parking. We need help identifying the units in the storage area. If any units belong to you or someone you know, please contact the Main Office to work out arrangements. This also applies for vacant lot storage. We want to prevent taking additional measures in all cases. Please work with the Main Office and Management.

Eric, our maintenance employee, left our company. Tuesday was his last day. We sincerely appreciate all of his hard work and energy for the short time he was with us. We will let residents know when new staff is hired. Any and all requests should still go to the Main Office. Please refrain from calling employees on their personal phones. Feel free to send message or call the emergency line after-hours if needed.

The anodes project was completed around lunch time today. Thank you for your help. We are on track to complete the drain and sewer projects by Friday. I have included pictures below

If you own one of these units, or a trailer/vehicle parked on a vacant lot, please contact the Main Office as soon as you can.

Gate Contractor Access Code

The Contractor Code for gate access is #1000. This is a code you can provide contractors when they come for goods and services. The code will change every month to help with security and will be sent through the blog site that is listed in the Trails End Policy. All contractors are still required to sign-in at the Main Office during business hours.

If you do not have a remote or a Personal Access Code, please contact the Main Office.
